Return to my Carolina page.

Below are some of the critters I have run across in my new home. The critters are nothing special, but they are all small and don't sit still. These pictures are taken with my Sigma 70-300 or Sigma 105mm Macro lens on my Nikon D5300. Enjoy!

Sandhill Crane (Forsyth Co.)

During the winter of 2016, a rare visitor made an appearance here in Forsyth County. A Sandhill Crand has taken up residence at the local landfill. Obviously, such a rare bird has generated a lot of interenst in the birding community. After several attempts, I was finally able to get this decent picture of our visitor.
